Testimony

Lance Armstrong has vehemently denied, lied, pledged, sworn and promised for years that he had never used PID’s. He “threw under the bus” his closest friends and teammates when they confronted him with allegations of his doping. We now hear of tearful confessions before his supporters and Oprah Winfrey. What does all this mean? Does this represent a man who is in true repentance from his sins? Is this all so-and-tell theatrics in order to gain approval or reputation? Has his guilt and shame caused his “bones to waste away” because he kept silent for so many years? There may be only one person who can answer the questions regarding Armstrong’s confession. But even Lance may not know what is in his own heart.

Prince William and Kate Expecting First Child

Year after year the Israelites waited for this grand pregnancy and birth of this mighty King. They had dreams and aspirations for this Mighty God ruler. They envisioned a glorious announcement and birth that included much fanfare and would create envy and respect in the eyes of all other rulers and nations. They knew this child would want for nothing and all the nations would bow before Him. They waited and times got tough. There were 300 years of no word from God through His prophets. Had God forgotten his people?

Wedding Feast Gone Bad

A paradox is a statement, proposition, or situation that seems to be absurd or contradictory, but in fact is or may be true. The heading of the article above contains some paradoxical phrases. “Wedding brawl in the city of brotherly love” appears a tad bit absurd or contradictory. The wedding feast is one where love, commitment and dedication are the primary themes and not tasers, batons, chaos and violence. It was not clear what started this brawl but it was apparent that the over usage of alcohol was a primary and contributing factor.
