It has been a joy and blessing to have lead Restoration Path for this season of its ministry. As I look back over the years of ministry I am grateful to have been invested in so many different clients lives.
It is always hopeful to see people come to a place of honesty and brokenness that leads them to a saving grace in Jesus Christ. Listening to clients has increased my faith as I have watched the Holy Spirit transform them and answer prayers. I have seen marriages restored, families reconcile, and unity be found again in churches from fallen pastors. There have been many challenges but none too great that our Lord could not bring together all that He wanted to use for His glory.
As Restoration Path continues to grow there are many men and women that continue to make poor choices and will need counsel when they have engaged in sexual sin. The state of growing promiscuity in our culture is only gaining momentum. The ministry of Restoration Path is available for anyone that wants to know freedom from bondage of sexual sin. The teachings developed by David Jones are uniquely organized for those in early recovery or someone that wants to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ. Having been able to sit under David’s teachings and share them with others helped me in many ways. These teachings grew my marriage and relationship with my kids. Most importantly it grew my faith and relationship with Christ.
I thank would like to thank all our supportive donors for your years of believing in this ministry with your financial stewardship and prayers. Restoration Path will continue to impact the world for God’s Kingdom under David’s leadership. Continue to give and pray for this needed ministry.
I look forward to seeing how God will use this dynamic ministry to bring others from addictive patterns and into the light of Jesus Christ.
God knows what we need before we ever recognize our need. He puts into motion addressing our needs before we even ask for it to be addressed. We, in our finite prospective, do not see his Holy handy work until we have passed through our time of need and how he sustained us. Such is the case with Tommy Corman’s time as the Director of Restoration Path. God knew the right person, with the right gifts and personality to address the needs of His ministry with Restoration Path. The sixth chapter of Judges describes how God raised up the man Gideon to do battle with His enemies. Gideon was a warrior who did battle for God’s glory and would not receive the glory and praise from men. Gideon had a difficult and sometimes thankless job. I believe God brought Tommy to this ministry before we knew we had a need. He brought us a man with a warrior’s attitude and focus who took on a difficult battle while seeking no praise or approval of man. He was God’s perfect fit to lead the ministry through a most taxing time. I would like to say thank you to Tommy for being willing and open to be used by God as His servant. There is, however, a season for everything. Tommy is responding to another call from God which means his season of leadership with this ministry will end. He will continue being affiliated with the ministry as time permits him but God has shifted his focus to other battle fields. Tommy and I have known each other for several years now and have fought in a few spiritual battles together. I wish him the best in his new challenges and will always consider him my brother, fellow warrior and friend.
There are some exciting things on the horizon for Restoration Path Ministries. In the next few months, I will be introducing some of the goals and vision as well as new additions to the ministry. Stay tuned to our website as those changes are introduced. Our overall mission statement for our ministry will not change and we will never compromise God’s Truth. We will strive for the perfect balance of Grace and Truth and always be there for those struggling with the affects of sexual and relational sin. I look forward to getting know you and thank you in advance for your prayers and support.
